Thomas Jefferson's Monticello

This is the home of Thomas Jefferson. It was a 5,000 acre plantation and is beautiful. Thomas Jefferson was very intelligent and had an extensive collection of books which he boxed up and took with him whenever he traveled. He was fluent in many different languages and preferred reading books in their original language. He was quite a collector as well. As you enter the front room of the house, it is set up like a museum of things he has collected. The Jefferson family graveyard is on the property and he is buried there.
