We have been in Nauvoo for six days. We have enjoyed visiting the lots formally owned by our ancestors. We went to the Land and Records Office the first day and got files for about 40 ancestors that came through Nauvoo. Most of them were family group sheet records, endowments, ward records, etc. but some of them had histories and lots. We found out that Brent's family (the Abbotts) and Ronda's family (the Lee's) lived a block from each other on the north end of town. The Leavitt's and Fish's (Brent's) lived right next to the Haven's, Barlow's, and Pulsipher's (Ronda's) on the east side of town.
We attended the new Nauvoo Pageant and it was fabulous. Beautiful costuming, scenery, music, singing, and acting. Very professional.
We are staying at the Nauvoo State Park Campground and Ronda especially enjoys seeing the fireflies at night. We have yet to capture a picture of them.
Plan on attending the Nauvoo Ward tomorrow and then it's off to Chicago on Monday.

How fun! What a beautiful temple! That's fascinating how your ancestors all lived next to each other. They were probably really good friends:)
